The task
A building services company gets found locally — «emergency plumber» or «replace heating», with a place name after it. The previous site barely answered searches like that, its addresses carried a hash in the middle of the path, and anyone wanting to call had to hunt for the number first.
The solution
A site that answers the questions people actually ask: fourteen guide articles, six catchment areas on record, and a project gallery where before and after can be compared with a slider. An enquiry runs in three steps, a photo or a PDF may come along, and the sender gets an immediate confirmation.
The technology
No framework, no build step: the entire website is a single HTML file, with PHP for the form and the admin area and five text files instead of a database. It sounds old-fashioned, and that is exactly why it is fast, low-maintenance and hard to attack — there is barely anything that could go out of date. The admin area is protected by a second factor.
The result
Twenty-five public pages with clean addresses instead of a hash in the address bar, company details in machine-readable form for search engines, and three ways to get in touch: phone, WhatsApp and form. Every enquiry is saved first and sent afterwards — none gets lost, even if the mail delivery hiccups.
