What data arises

Personal data arises only when you submit one of the two forms. Exactly what you enter is stored — nothing more:

• Contact enquiry: name, company (optional), email, phone (optional), type of project, your message and the chosen language.
• First call: name, email, phone, preferred date, time slot, topic (optional) and the chosen language.

This information is used to answer your enquiry and to arrange an appointment. It is not sold, not rented out and not used for third-party advertising.

No IP addresses in enquiries

The two enquiry tables deliberately have no column for IP addresses — they cannot store one. To slow down bulk submissions, the IP address is processed briefly on submit and then discarded. The hosting provider additionally keeps technical server logs required for operation and security.

Cookies

This website sets no advertising and no analytics cookies. The only cookie set is a technically necessary session cookie: it protects the forms against misuse from other websites and expires after two hours of inactivity. No consent banner is needed for that — there is nothing to consent to.

No third-party services

Nothing is loaded from third-party servers when you open this site. The fonts sit on our own server; there is no content delivery network, no analytics service, no maps, no social media widgets and no embedded video. Your browser talks only to builtbyselimi.ch.

Hosting

The website and its database are hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland. For the operation of this website, your data does not leave the country. The connection is encrypted throughout (HTTPS).

How long enquiries are kept

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle them and for any resulting collaboration, and at most two years after the last contact. After that they are deleted. On request we delete them sooner.

Your rights

Under Swiss data protection law you may request information about which of your data is being processed, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to processing. An informal email to hallo@builtbyselimi.ch is enough; we reply within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Changes

If something changes in the application that affects this information, this text is updated. The version published here applies.
